Studio Policy

Welcome to Foto Loft. We’re excited to have you here to capture your special moments. Please review the following policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable session.

Booking, Payment & Additional Persons/Pets

  • All bookings are made online, and a valid card on file is required to reserve a session.

  • Additional persons (over age of 2) or pets (dog or cat only) for sessions are $20 each, payable during appointment booking or at the studio after your session.

  • Children and pets are to be supervised at all times.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • Full refund for cancellations made 48 hours before your scheduled session.

  • Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable but can be rescheduled.

  • No-shows are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

  • If you are late, your session time may be reduced and will still end at the originally scheduled time.

Rental Time & Session Rules

  • Your rental time begins at the scheduled start time, not upon arrival.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for a quick orientation so you can begin promptly.

  • Your session starts with the 20 minute photoshoot, 20 minute photo selection, then the remaining time to edit, process, and print photos.

  • If you do not arrive within 15 minutes from the scheduled start time, you will be marked as no-show and your session will be cancelled without refund.

  • All shooting must stop and the studio must be cleaned and vacated by the end of your 20 minute photoshoot.

  • Sessions end at the scheduled finish time regardless of arrival time.

Safety & Equipment Rules

For your safety, please be mindful of studio equipment, including lighting, stands, and cameras. These items are professional-grade and may cause injury if handled improperly. Clients must not touch, move, or adjust any equipment unless expressly instructed by studio staff.

 

By entering the studio, clients assume all risks associated with the presence of professional photography equipment and release the studio, its owners, and staff from any liability for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from misuse of equipment, failure to follow instructions, or unsafe conduct while on the premises.

To ensure safety and functionality:

  • Please follow all safety guidelines provided by our staff to ensure everyone's safety.

  • Absolutely NO touching, moving, adjusting, or tampering with ANY studio equipment.

  • Failure to comply may result in session termination without refund and incur penalties.

  • If any equipment is damaged due to misuse, repair or replacement fees will be charged.

     

Children and pets are to be supervised at all times.

Equipment Damage (Including Backdrops)

Clients are fully responsible for any damage to:

  • Cameras

  • Lenses

  • Lighting equipment

  • Remotes

  • Stands

  • Monitors

  • iPads

  • Computer

  • Props

  • Backdrops (backdrop paper and mount system)

  • Any other studio property

Fees for damaged equipment will be assessed based on repair or replacement cost.

 

Backdrop Damage Rate:

  • $15 per foot (measured from the bottom edge upward)

Intentional misuse or negligence may incur additional fees or penalties.

Prohibited Items

To keep the studio clean and safe:

  • No smoking or vaping

  • No alcohol

  • No illegal substances

  • No confetti, glitter, powders, smoke bombs, feathers, or any loose/debris-creating props are allowed inside the studio.

  • Anything that creates residue, debris, or requires extensive cleanup

  • These rules are in place to protect equipment, maintain cleanliness, and avoid damage to cameras, lighting, backdrops, and flooring.

  • Violations result in a $500 fine and possible removal from the studio with no refund.

Cleaning Fee

We kindly ask all clients to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone. Please leave the studio as you found it. Excessive mess or dirtiness will result in a $100 cleaning fee.

Conduct

We ask all clients to behave respectfully and professionally. Any unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior may result in session termination with no refund.

​

Personal Belongings

Foto Loft is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or left-behind personal items.

​

Photos and Digital Files

  • Photos will be uploaded to a secure personal online gallery for you in a timely manner, typically within an hour.

  • RAW files not available.

Pet Policy

We love having pets at Foto Loft and are excited to help you capture memorable moments with your furry friends. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, pet owners agree to the following terms and conditions:

Maximum of 2 pets allowed per session.

​

Our studio allows well-behaved dogs and cats only. Pets must be fully house-trained, non-aggressive, and supervised by their owner at all times. We reserve the right to refuse or end a session if a pet's behavior poses a risk to people, property, or equipment.

 

Advance Notice

I will inform Foto Loft in advance if I plan to bring a pet to the studio.

 

Behavior & Safety

I understand that I am responsible for the behavior of my pet and will ensure the safety of staff or other clients.

 

Leash or Carrier Requirement:

I will keep my pet on a leash or in a carrier at all times while in the studio.

 

Supplies

I will bring all essential supplies for my pet, such as food, water, and bedding.

 

Clean-up Duty

I will promptly clean up after my pet and dispose of any waste properly.

 

Damage and Cleaning Fees

I acknowledge that I am responsible for any damage my pet causes to the studio or equipment and will cover any necessary cleaning or repair costs.

 

Right to Refuse

I understand that Foto Loft reserves the right to refuse service to any pet at any time, at their discretion.
